Students and teachers at Terrytown Elementary came together on Wednesday, December 21, to celebrate reading. Dressed in their warmest PJ’s, students enjoyed listening to stories read by parent volunteers and community members. Throughout the month of November, Terrytown Elementary will be sponsoring a canned good drive. Please bring in any nonperishable items to donate to those in need.
Terrytown Elementary is raising money to support Unite Way’s goal of eliminating poverty in Southeast Louisiana and building a stronger community. Please fill out the envelope sent home by students and send in your donation. Any amount helps!
The School Pantry program alleviates child hunger by reaching children and their families at school which is one of the most accessible and safe location for our families. We are extremely grateful to have the School Pantry at Terrytown Elementary.
Raise money for Terrytown Elementary by eating at Raising Cane’s in Oakwood Mall on Thursday, September 29th. Just say “Terrytown Elementary” when you check out and Cane’s will donate a part of the proceeds to our school. Don’t forget to save your receipt and bring it in to school the next day!
